Shipping & Logistics Policy

Last Updated: [Month Day, Year]

This Shipping & Logistics Policy applies to products purchased from [Company Name] / [Brand Name], including but not limited to container houses, mobile cabins, security safes, vault doors, mobile shelving systems, and other customized industrial products.

Due to the size, weight, customization options, and international transportation requirements of our products, shipping arrangements may vary depending on the product type, order quantity, destination country, delivery address, and agreed trade terms.

1. Shipping Methods

We mainly arrange transportation by sea freight, truck freight, or combined logistics solutions depending on the destination and product requirements.

For international orders, common shipping methods may include:

  • Sea freight by full container load or less-than-container load
  • Truck delivery to port, warehouse, or project site
  • Multimodal transportation depending on the destination
  • Customized logistics solutions for oversized or heavy-duty products

The final shipping method will be confirmed before order production or shipment.

2. Shipping Quotation

Shipping costs are not always automatically calculated at checkout because many of our products are large, heavy, or customized.

The final shipping cost depends on:

  • Product size and weight
  • Order quantity
  • Packaging volume
  • Destination country or region
  • Port of destination or delivery address
  • Selected trade terms
  • Customs clearance and local delivery requirements

Any shipping cost shown on this website is for reference only unless confirmed in an official quotation, proforma invoice, or written agreement.

3. Trade Terms

Depending on the order and destination, we may support different trade terms, such as EXW, FOB, CIF, CFR, DAP, or other agreed terms.

The specific trade term for each order must be clearly confirmed in the quotation, invoice, or sales contract before shipment.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, import duties, taxes, customs clearance fees, local port charges, inspection fees, storage fees, and final delivery costs in the destination country are the buyer’s responsibility.

4. Production and Lead Time

Most of our products are manufactured or customized according to order requirements. Production time may vary depending on product type, quantity, customization level, material availability, and factory schedule.

Estimated lead times will be provided before order confirmation. Any lead time shown on the website is an estimate only and does not include customs clearance, port handling, local delivery, or unexpected transportation delays.

5. Shipment Arrangement

Before shipment, we will confirm key shipping details with the buyer, including product information, packaging, destination, shipping method, consignee information, and required shipping documents.

Buyers must provide accurate shipping and customs clearance information, including but not limited to:

  • Company name
  • Contact person
  • Phone number
  • Delivery address
  • Destination port or warehouse
  • Tax ID, VAT number, EORI number, or other required import information
  • Customs broker information, if applicable

Incorrect or incomplete information may cause shipment delays, extra charges, or failed delivery. Such costs shall be borne by the buyer.

6. Packaging

We use suitable packaging methods based on product type, weight, size, transportation method, and export requirements.

Packaging may include steel frame support, wooden packing, protective film, foam protection, pallet packaging, container loading reinforcement, or other necessary packaging methods.

For large products such as container houses and mobile cabins, loading methods may vary depending on the structure, folding method, modular design, and container space.

7. Customs, Duties, and Import Regulations

Buyers are responsible for ensuring that the purchased products can be legally imported, installed, resold, or used in the destination country or region.

Buyers are also responsible for complying with local customs regulations, building codes, safety standards, product certifications, tax requirements, and import restrictions.

We are not responsible for customs delays, import rejection, additional duties, penalties, local compliance issues, or losses caused by the buyer’s failure to meet local requirements.

8. Delivery and Unloading

For large or heavy products, buyers may need to arrange unloading equipment, forklifts, cranes, labor, or local transportation at the destination.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, unloading, site handling, installation, lifting equipment, permits, and local transportation from the port or warehouse to the final project site are the buyer’s responsibility.

The buyer should inspect the delivery site in advance to ensure it is suitable for truck access, unloading, storage, and installation.

9. Shipping Delays

Estimated shipping times are provided for reference only. Actual delivery may be affected by factors beyond our control, including but not limited to:

  • Weather conditions
  • Port congestion
  • Vessel delays
  • Customs inspection
  • Public holidays
  • Strikes
  • Force majeure events
  • Local transportation delays
  • Changes in customs or import regulations

We will make reasonable efforts to assist with shipment tracking and communication, but we are not liable for delays caused by carriers, customs authorities, ports, or other third parties.

10. Inspection Upon Arrival

Buyers should inspect all goods immediately upon arrival. If there is visible damage, missing items, or packaging issues, buyers should take photos and videos before unloading or signing for delivery whenever possible.

Any shipping damage or shortage claim should be reported to us in writing within [3–7 days] after receipt of goods, together with clear photos, videos, packing list, shipping documents, and other supporting evidence.

Failure to report issues within the required period may affect the claim process with the carrier or insurance provider.

11. Shipping Damage and Insurance

For international shipments, cargo insurance may be arranged upon request or according to the agreed trade terms.

If cargo insurance is not included in the quotation or contract, buyers may request insurance before shipment. Insurance coverage, claim requirements, and compensation standards are subject to the terms of the insurance provider.

We are not responsible for losses or damages caused by improper unloading, storage, installation, modification, misuse, or third-party handling after delivery.

12. Changes to Shipping Information

Any change to the shipping address, consignee information, destination port, delivery method, or trade term must be confirmed in writing before shipment.

If the shipment has already been arranged or dispatched, changes may not be possible or may result in additional costs. Such additional costs shall be borne by the buyer.
